A matched pair of mid-century leather tub chairs, dating to the 1940s–early 1950s.
Classic tub form with generous proportions, hand-upholstered in original browny-green aniline leather, now worn to a deep, warm patina. The leather shows natural creasing and tonal variation consistent with age and use, adding real character without compromising structure.
Constructed using traditional methods, evidenced by hand-driven upholstery tacks to the underside (no modern staples). Raised on solid wooden legs. Seats are comfortable and supportive, with no major losses or repairs noted.
