A characterful pair of antique English penny seat stools dating to the early 20th century.
Each stool is crafted in walnut and features a solid circular “penny” seat with a beautifully worn patina from decades of use. The seats sit above four turned legs united by traditional H-stretchers, giving the stools excellent strength and stability.
Simple, honest country furniture — likely made for everyday use in a pub, kitchen or workshop. The walnut has developed a rich colour and surface wear that only comes with genuine age.
A versatile pair that work equally well as kitchen stools, occasional seating, or decorative country house pieces.
Good antique condition with age-related wear. Structurally solid with excellent patina throughout.
