Large late victorian mahogany campaign secretaire chest of drawers. Featuring 11 drawers in total including a writting slope and hidden drawer accessed from the middle top drawer. Fully brass bound with oversized handles. An impressive example in solid overall condition.
Please expect age related wear throughout including surface scratches, chips and light knocks including damage to the leather of the writting slope. The sides have been stripped and refinished with some minor repairs as pictures. The carry handles look to be a mixture of original and replacements, the exact same style with slight variation in size. The unit comprises of a top and bottom half and i would always advise manoeuvering without baring the full weight on to the carry handles.
