Large antique French elm and fruitwood farmhouse refectory style table (c.1920) with a warm, honest patina and classic pegged stretcher base. Features its original centre drawer, plus two wider sliding drawer fronts that open to reveal deep internal storage spaces within the frame. Historic worm treated and wax-filled; solid and ready to use. A striking 210cm provincial table with great character and practical storage.
Finish appears to be a more recent hard waxoil. Age related wear including light surface scratches some historic subtle ring marks.
