A characterful antique handwoven wool runner, measuring approximately 300cm x 100cm.
Featuring a traditional geometric and floral design in earthy terracotta, deep brown, indigo and natural tones. The rug has developed a lovely aged patina through genuine use, with beautifully softened colours and low pile consistent with its age.
There is wear throughout, as expected with an old floor rug, but no major damage or significant areas of loss noted. The overall structure remains good and the honest wear gives the piece plenty of character.
A substantial and highly decorative runner with a wonderful old-world appearance, equally suited to a traditional interior or a more relaxed contemporary setting.
