A striking antique Chinese altar console table, late Qing to early Republic period, with the classic sweeping “flying eaves” top and scalloped apron. Beautifully patinated throughout, with a deep, honest surface showing decades of use. The three drawer fronts are later replacements, well matched and fully functional. Standing an impressive 108cm tall, it makes a superb hall console, display table or statement piece in a contemporary interior. Lightweight but solid construction.
Age related wear/patina throughout. No historic woodworm to note.
