Early 20th century Arts & Crafts comb-back armchair in the manner of Liberty & Co., crafted from solid beech with a distinctive hexagonal seat and tall spindle back beneath a shaped comb rail. The design draws from traditional Windsor forms, reinterpreted with the restrained elegance associated with the English Arts & Crafts movement. Featuring shaped arms, elegant turned supports and a beautifully aged surface with rich colour throughout. A sculptural and highly decorative piece with strong architectural presence and honest age-related wear.
