Antique tub armchair with a solid beech frame, featuring a curved horseshoe back with turned spindle gallery and cabriole legs. The chair has been reupholstered at some point in a later striped fabric but appears to retain its original traditional filling, with a webbed seat and no modern foam.
The frame shows attractive aged patina with expected wear, including surface marks and rubbing to the arms and legs, consistent with age and use. Structurally sound and comfortable, with good colour to the wood.
