Large 20th century French candlestick pedestal. An impressive, oversized statement piece. Octagonal in shape and gothic in appearance, featuring paneling to all sides with a solid brass candle holder. Possibly salvaged from a convent, church or vineyard. Textured black finish, possibly overpainted as there are gold remnants. Please expect age related wear/patina, no woodworm to note.
